1. WHAT IS THE CURE TIME FOR XPEL FUSION CERAMIC COATINGS?
Dry time is 6 hours and full cure is 3 days. During this time we recommend you avoid washing the vehicle or exposing it to any harsh chemicals.
2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CERAMIC COATING AND PAINT PROTECTION FILM?
Ceramic coatings provide a hydrophobic surface making the vehicle easier to keep clean and maintain a glossy appearance. They will provide some protection against environmental contaminants and UV. Paint protection film is ideal for those looking to protect their paint from rock chips, scratches, and other physical damage. Many of our customers will opt for a combination of both products.
3. HOW SHOULD I MAINTAIN MY CERAMIC COATING?
The durability of the coating is dependent upon how the vehicle is maintained. We recommend hand washing on a bi-weekly basis and applying XPEL Ceramic Boost. Be sure to use a high quality wash mitt and microfiber drying towel as well. Consistent exposure to harsh chemicals, or neglect may reduce the life of the coating.
