1. HOW DOES CERAMIC TINT DIFFER FROM OTHER TYPES OF TINT?
In addition to 99% UV rejection, ceramic window tint provides a significant amount of heat rejection as well. Other types of tint, such as dyed or metalized, do very little for heat rejection and are primarily for aesthetics. Ceramic tint also does not interfere with cell phone signals like metalized film does.
2. MY BACK WINDOWS ARE ALREADY TINTED FROM THE FACTORY, WHY DO I STILL NEED WINDOW TINT?
The dark glass seen on most SUV's and trucks is simply privacy glass. It will not provide the same level of UV or heat rejection that ceramic window tint does. If you have passengers in the back of your vehicle which you want to protect from UV or heat, then those windows should be tinted as well.
